SAFETY AT FRASER ENGINEERING

A Culture of
Caring
, built into
every job.

Behind every procedure is a person we want to send home safe. That belief shapes how we plan, staff, and run every project across Massachusetts.

“Safety isn’t a binder on a shelf. It’s a daily habit of looking out for one another.”

Shawna Fraser Nagle

VP of Safety · MS, CSP, CHST, CUSP

We earn trust by doing the work right — and doing it safely — every single day.
Everyone takes ownership: for their work, for their crew, and for going home safe.
We learn from every good catch, near-miss, and project — and get better because of it.
Looking out for one another is the foundation of how we work together.
What We Stand For

Four core values, on and off the jobsite.

Our Culture of Caring grows out of the values we hold ourselves to every day.
Our Philosophy

Fraser has been a multi-trade mechanical contractor since 1950 — plumbers, pipefitters, welders, HVAC and controls technicians working in mechanical rooms, process piping, and utility environments where the margin for error is small.

Our safety program is built on a simple idea we call a Culture of Caring: everyone is responsible for everyone else. Crews are encouraged to speak up early, log the small stuff before it becomes an incident, and never trade a shortcut for a shift. Leadership backs that up with plans, training, and time on the jobsite.

Everyone goes home.
Compliance & Prequalification

Verified by the standards our clients rely on.

Owners and general contractors can check our standing directly in the third-party systems they already use, and count on a fully compliant substance-abuse program.

How We Work Safely

A safety program engineered into every project.

These practices run on every job, not just the high-risk ones — so safe work is the default, not the exception.
A written Health & Safety Plan for every project, reviewed together with the crew in the pre-job kickoff before work begins.
Every incident and near-miss gets a documented rootcause review and corrective actions — we fix the cause, not just the symptom.
Every crew submits and reviews a JSA each day, identifying the day’s hazards and controls — 100% participation, company-wide.
Teams log hazards and near-misses on their daily reports through Raken, so small catches get fixed before they become incidents.
Safety and quality aren’t a separate agenda item — they’re part of every meeting we hold, from pre-job kickoffs to leadership and project reviews.
Safety leadership visits active jobsites to observe conditions first-hand and support crews where the work is actually happening.
